Nestle Philippines Recalls Maggie Instant Noodles Due to Salmonella

I just received an update from a friend in Facebook sharing that Nestle Philippines is doing ongoing recall of Maggie Instant Noodles (Beef and Chicken Flavors).

Per the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the recall covers all Maggi Rich Mami Noodles, both variants of chicken and beef flavors for precautionary measure.

Two batches of Maggi Rich Mami Noodles, beef flavor, were found to have traces of salmonella. These are 11020598A2 and 11030598A1.

I asked my mom to check the packs that we got for free for buying a Nescafe Coffee, and positive. We both have Chicken and Beef flavors. Now what? Would Nestle even replace the item? Doesn't matter. We only have two packs left and we would rather choose to stay healthy than stress ourselves on the phone trying to reach a representative. Or maybe I can do it on a weekend.

Nestle also announced that they have stopped production of Maggi Rich Mami Noodles pending the completion of its investigation.
