Did you also grow up with Bizu? They say that only 10% of the new businesses would survive, and only 10% of that 10% would still be on the business after 10 years, and Bizu is part of the small percentage. Bizu, from the French word Bisous, which means kiss or beso-beso as we Filipinos love to do when meeting and greeting friends is an inspiration of the Bizu Patisserie as it creates good selection of pastries and cakes.
Bizu treated us to a full meal last week and served us the best dishes on their menu, as it launched its newest Photo Exhibit and Contest entitled Joie de Vivre, to celebrate its 10 years.
What's for eats?
French Onion Soup
10 Hour US Roast Beef
Trio Dessers - Strawberry Chiboust, Opera Cake, and Macaron De Paris Lemon
Enough of the food, it is making me hungry. I know you are excited about the contest. The Joie de Vivre contest which means Joy of Living, represents what Bizu has consistently given its clientele through its superb selection of foods that are both savory and sweet. Through the competition, Bizu wants to make sure
they remember not just the decade that has passed but also the special and endearing moments that drew them close to their clientele’s hearts. Bizu believes that everyone should find happiness in everything and should celebrate life to the fullest.
There are six categories:
1. I LOVE YOU MOMMY/DADDY
2. WE’RE IN LOVE
3. FUN WITH FRIENDS
4. LOVE THYSELF
5. CELEBRATING WITH FOOD
6. JUST US KIDS
Participants may submit their entries from August 15 to October 25, 2011 at any of the Bizu Patisserie and Bistro branches. Provincial participants may submit their entries through mail. Please see the Bizu Facebook Fanpage for more info.
Winners of the photo contest will each receive P10, 000 worth of Bizu Gift Certificates and a Luxurious Vacation Package for Two for 3 days, 2 nights in Acuatico Beach Resort, a premium leisure resort in Laiya, Batangas. The six winning entries will be showcased in a special Photo Exhibit in Bizu Greenbelt 2
During the event, we were given disposable Kodak cameras and we took pictures of our fellow bloggers which we think best describes the theme of the contest. It was fun using those traditional cameras which you have to rewind, wait for the flash button to activate before taking a shot and be frustrated because it doesn't have preview feature.
Please join the Bizu Joie de Vivre Photo Contest share the joy of living :)
Thanks to Bizu and Happy 10th Year Anniversary!
