Coffee + Fashion: Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's Small Talks for Big Changes Brunch Series

Coffee and Fashion. Two of the many things I love. Combine them together, and I had a good morning last Saturday. The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's Brunch Series featured Preview Magazine's Associate Editor, Eunice Lucero in which she talks about trends and styles to watch out for next year.

I came early in the Shangri-la store, and I am quite impressed with the new styles of Coffee Bean stores. There is even a couch where people can sit while they wait for their drinks. I wish the store has a washroom though. I had a serious practice of muscle control during the talk. Tehehehe.

When Eunice came in the store, I already know she is the "Eunice Lucero" - she came so simple yet fashionable with liquid jeans, color block top in sheer, and white cape which she said she got from Crossings. I know we had someone who is expert in the topic.

While waiting for more attendees to come, we enjoyed sandwiches and pastries from Coffee Bean's gourmet offerings. I missed the Chef's Tuna and Chocolate Fudge Cake! Yum!

Dining in at Coffee Bean is not complete without enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. This time, I got to witness how the CBTL Single Serve Beverage System produces coffee and tea with just one push of the button. There is no need to grind, tamp, and measure water. Just place the cup (available in Coffee Bean) and push the button - then savour the aroma of coffee (or tea), be amazed with the nice crema of the brew and enjoy the perfect cup! Amazing!

Eunice talks about the trends for next year - from the styles and cuts, to prints and colors, and even make-up (natural look would be soo in next year - so out with the matrona-cakey look!). We were even given a chance to ask questions. It is nice to listen to an expert who empowers us to be not afraid of fashion and experimenting.

Interesting topic and good coffee - and of course, company of new bloggie friends from the Fashion Group. I enjoyed the brunch and I am glad to be part of the last leg of the CBTL's the Great Exchange Program. It is an on-going event that highlights the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's new single serve system. I am sure The Bean will soon come up with more exciting events.
