Great Buys of the Week: Stuff to Pack for Fall

I always find myself in the mall days before my travel. Oh yeah, I am traveling again. But I don't want to share the details yet.. until I have received the "arrival" stamp from the Immigration Officer of the destination country. I would have a lot of stories to tell again.. and I hate that I haven't even finished my blog series for my Beijing, Ilocos and Indonesia trips. It is still in my to-do list.

Anyway, I found a compelling reason to shop this time. I would be in another continent, which means I would get to feel a different weather - and I need to wear something appropriate for the culture and the weather. So I dragged my mom to SM North Edsa and Trinoma, and went home with these shopping bags.

Well, actually I paid Php2 for each shopping bag (except for Payless!). Quezon City is really taking the zero plastic campaign seriously.. which I think is good. I hope this would be a nationwide campaign - like in Hong Kong. I am just telling my mom we could make use of the eco-bags I got from the events I attended.

Anyway, so it is been a while since I shared my Great Buys.. blame the busy schedule.. But since it is a Sunday, and I am soo happy with my purchases, I find myself taking pictures of each piece and typing this blog entry.

Now, what's inside those bags? Click Read More to know..

Let's start with the biggest bag, Payless.. I soo love Payless Store! Because the store has my size! I literally jumped when I found a Payless store in Makassar, Indonesia! And yes, I bought a pair of shoes from there.

Here in Manila, I always swing by Payless store whenever I see it - it seems like it has some sort of spell that just commands me to go inside, and leave with a shopping bag. Like what happened today..

This is black flats for my mom - on sale at Php595!

I didn't have plans of buying anything.. I just checked if they have new stuff, or items on sale..
Then I found this pair, and once again, I am Cinderella trying the shoes on
and it fits! This is something I can even wear in Manila.
So it goes to the basket..
Not on sale, at Php1,750.

My best friend once told me, ruched dress/tops remind her of me.. True! I love ruched tops and dresses.. don't be surprised that I bought this from Tango!

Tango is one of my favorite stores! This sexy, body-hugging dress is only Php699 (on sale!)

Then, of course I bought some toiletries to pack..

And this one I am loving.
It is made of microbeads, which is super comfy!
This is a must-bring for all travelers! I even tried this on our way home
from the mall :D Php299 (Snooze, SM Department Store)

And the very reason I am blogging this.. is because of my great, great buys from Terranova! Even my mom is so happy and amazed at how cheap the items are! It is just sad that the colored pants are no longer available.. well, I am not surprised. Anyway, here are my best finds..

Red and Black Knitted Tube Tops at Php145 each!

Knitted Sweatshirt at Php295!

Halter Tank Top at Php145 (I saw some with Aztec prints..
but, I am loving this one more!)

Knitted Dress at Php295! Can you believe that?
Beats the Ukay-ukay Pricing!

Jogging Pants at Php395

And when I opened the plastic bag, I got these freebies from Ponds!
Thank you!

I will probably do more shopping in the destination country. I got my first week clothes set. Tomorrow, I will worry about packing again.

There are a lot of mall-wide sales this weekend, what are your best buys?
