I have previously heard about the Fairview Terraces but declined most of the invitations because I thought it is out of my (comfort) zone. But yesterday's invitation by Ayala Malls was so compelling, I had to go (and I was delighted I did go!).
The shuttle service that brought us from Trinoma to Fairview Terraces served like a party bus. Well, ok, there was no alcohol or fancy champagne, but there were a lot of stories and laughs from crazy fashion bloggers on board. The ride should only take 20 minutes without traffic.
When we got to Fairview Terraces, I was greeted with greens, grass and glass! There is that distinct lush green setting of Ayala Malls (very much like our favorite Trinoma and UPTown Mall).
We had a lovely lunch at Recipes (I love the crunchy fish-fry!), and a quick briefing with the Ayala Malls Team. You ask what is the briefing for? No, we did not walk down the runway.. we had a shopping tour of Fairview Terraces!

Bloggers were divided into two groups and we visited stores in Fairview Terraces. we were like kids in a field trip!
Our group went to:
If you want stripes, go to this store. It also has fun graphic tees!
Lay Bare (Eyebrow Threading is below Php200 here!)
Celebrations Party Central
This store is loooove! It has all nice artsy party stuff that you cannot easily find in
Divisoria. Very cute!
Japan Home Centre (who doesn't love this store?)
The store is selling really nice, durable loom bands!
Go Shop Travel and Adventure Essentials

If you want to go for a hair treatment, rebonding, digiperm or hair dye,
you know where to go!

I got some really cute and fun accessories and hair pieces from this store!
This salon caters to kids, men, and women. One of the oldest salons in Manila :)
Whew! That was a tiring stroll.. but I love how spacious, wide, and well-kept Fairview Terraces is. There is something about the lines, the lights and curves that make the mall so relaxing. This is now one of my favorite malls in Manila! (and I love how clean and spacious the washrooms are!)
After the tour, we settled in the Activity Area where TGIFridays fed us with yummy cocktails before the Style Origins featuring Mensweek officially opened.
Some Snapshots. You can see the official list of
designers featured in MensWeek over here.
If you think this is the biggest treat.. we thought so too!
We were surprised when the crowd starting screaming frantically..
we thought there was an accident or show malfunction. I looked up to see..
He did not just did the ramp, but he also sang and danced for us.
We were all surprised!
I had so much fun with blogger friends and new bloggies. Thank you also to the merchants and sponsors who participated in the event! Thank you too to Niche and Jeff, (and Apple of my Right Eye, Paul) and wonderful people of Ayala Malls! I cannot wait to go back! (I have some friends who live in the area!)
P.S. During the shopping tour, we were asked to take an #ootd showcasing Fairview Terraces. I was in my usual comfy uniform (jeans, rock shirt and flats), and not in my competitive-self.. so just for fun, we had our photos taken in the big tree (reminds me of Whooping Willow!) as a background! (thank you Mikki for taking this!)
I was in my model off-duty peg!

Congratulations to Seph, Catch, Christian, Kelly and Christine for winning the #ootd challenge. If you want to see more pictures from yesterday, check out the #FairviewTerracesStyleOrigin hashtag in IG.
