Easy and Healthy Lomi Recipe with Malunggay Noodles

I received this Malunggay Miki from the City of Vigan and I thought I would join forces with mom to cook something healthy and soup-y in this rainy Monday morning. I was aiming for a Meatless Monday dish, but mom insisted on adding chicken to give the meal a serving of protein.

Carrots (diced)

4. Season with salt and pepper. Let it boil.
4. Add carrots, patola, and cabbage.

5. Add the malunggay miki and let it simmer.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Here's a super tasty, hearty meal with Malunggay Miki perfect for breakfast or merienda! The patola makes the soup a little thick. We thought adding a soy-calamansi sauce will give it a Pancit Canton twist.

We love the malunggay miki, but still searching where to get this in Manila.
Will try to share more recipes here. Happy eating!
