Add Photo on Your Watch or Make Loombands Strap with SwapWatch DIY Watches

I love watches. I love anything personalized. Put the two together and I am the happiest kid in the world! Tomato (oh, another favorite!) released a new concept in the watch industry last year - a watch with interchangeable silicon straps and water-resistant watchfaces called SWAP.

After a year, the craze is still on and even more fun with the SWAP DIY (Do It Yourself) watches! The launch was held yesterday at Tomato Store, Glorietta 2. It was like a fun fair when I got to the store!

The Tomato Store even became more colorful with the display of interchangeable watches, fun food and yummy candies!

I was in trouble though. I am not very good at anything D.I.Y. I mean, I need a little inspiration before I can go make a masterpiece. Thankfully, there is a guide available in the store where I can select the kind of strap and watchface I want - and with just a click, I can see the preview.

SwapWatch DIY Watch/Photo Watch
Personalized with your choice of strap, watchface
or your own photo! Php1,000

I was already set and ready to complete my DIY details when I found out we can have our photo printed in the watchface! Most of the guests decided to get this design! We just had to select the color of the strap that we want and send them over the picture we want in the watchface.

Yummy watches for some nice inspiration!

The Tomato team is nice enough to offer to have my watch delivered at home (since they couldn't read my gadget and coudn't get the picture that I want). Thank you Tomato! I am so excited to see my new watch! While killing time, I decided to try my hands on DIY watch loombands!

Watchface available for only Php350

Look at those yummy watch colors and loombands!

I decided to try this to really feel the DIY factor of this new craze! Matet from Tomato is so awesome to teach me how to do the loomband strap. She started it and I continued. Thank you to my niece, Lhana for teaching me how to do fishtail! This one's for the watch is a little complicated but still fun to do!

Yay, I got to finish it in less than an hour! Haha

Can you spot Rhian Ramos learning the Swap Loom? :)

It was a fun, colorful event!

Of course, I did not leave without doing a little fun shopping :) I always love Tomato (and even mom gives a nod whenever I buy something from Tomato). I would try to feature them in OOTD's soon :)

The SWAP DIY and SWAP LOOM are both available online http://www.tomato.ph/time/swap/diy.

Here's for my simple outfit yesterday. I was feeling a bit sick because "it is the time of the month" again! I was all for simple clothes - white shirt, denim and fun flats with monster prints. Thank you Tomato for brightening up my day, and for the new watches to add on my collection :)
