All Things Hair Philippines

When your favorite events host opened the event, you just sat there and listened. Joey Mead welcomed us in the newly opened Green Sun Creative Hub in Pasong Tamo, Makati. I always love when she hosts the event - she's a natural with that spunk and style. She shared that the most searched keyword in Google is about hair care (on second is travel). Can you believe that?

Although there are gazillion tutorials, blogs and information in the internet, there are no specific site that provides hair care and styling tutorial that caters to Filipino hair. Interestingly, because of the demand to know more about hair care, a collaboration with Google was made with Unilver, and #allthingshairph is born.

"Everday thousands of Filipinos search for hair tips, tutorials, styles and inspiration. What better way to address them than to collaborate with the world's top vloggers, and hair brands to form an online destination for hair solutions and inspirations" said Thomas Poulain of Google Philippines.

Thomas shared the search trend for hair care tips

All Things Hair #allthingshairph is a collaboration between Google, the world's biggest search engine, global hair brands, Dove, TRESemme, Toni & Guy, Cream Silk, Sunsilk and Clear, and the Philippines' top vloggerse - Angela Nepomuceno, Kelly Misa, Laureen Uy, Nicole Andreson, and James & Phil Younghusband.

We got to see some of the videos that you can view in Youtube.com. I love that they feature vloggers who we can relate to, and products that we can buy locally. I personally watch hair tutorials in Youtube.com, but I always tend to forget how to do them when I need to go out. Haha. I seriously need to start again with my "wash &wear" look.

"At Unilever, we are always looking for ways to reach out to our consumers and come up with solutions for their every problem. We feel that this new video platform is a really great way to do it". shared Apples Aberin, PR Head for Unilever brands.

Lovely to see these two together throwing banters!
They are the girls that I so adore in the yester-years in Cosmo :)

I love the mix of vloggers and personalities they chose for this project.

Men would also know more about hair tips from the Younghusbands!

Looks like the girls were impressed!

Of course @lush_angel is part of the team!
This girl is so pretty and crazy fun! Congratulations!

After the event, we got to visit the different stations and said hello to the girls. They happily entertained our questions about hair care, and even some of them let us sit down for fun hair styling :)

What do you think of James' new look?

Nicole is always fun, candid and pretty! Love this girl.
She talked about hair care tips too in BDJBox Camp Gorgeous.

Here's a sample of hair tutorial by Angel that I have also learned from previous research
(goes to show Filipinas really search about hair styling and tips ;))

Awesome project, awesome team :)
