The meals are inherited through three generations of heirloom recipes and traditions, the Romulo cuisine is inspired by rich historical significance, primarily the career of General Carlos P. Romulo – the first Asian President of the United Nations General Assembly and proud Filipino diplomat. I heard that affairs hosted by Gen. Romulo were celebrations of delectable food selection served and enjoyed by their international guests.
It felt like attending one of those events with delectable dishes presented in each station. The recipes are passed on to generations which gave birth to Romulo Food Group composed of: the Romulo Lounge, Claudia’s Kitchen, Cerchio, Tito Chef and Catering by Claudia.
The event coincide with the 69th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations and the spread was a celebration of international taste and flavor.
Some of the food worth mentioning (aside from the Balut Pate and Duck Lumpia!), the Calabaza Soup with Carrot Sauce (that truly defines its flavor and color!), the Paella Valenciana - a rich
savoury fiesta of seafood, chorizos, vegetables and rice cooked with Saffron and Sofrito (I am not a fan of paella but I enjoyed the one from Romulo team!), the US Angus Beef Brisket Sandwich (do I need to explain further?)
There is also a Pasta Station - Fettuccine with Mushroom and Truffle Sauce, Penne pasta with Spinach in Pomodoro Sauce, Fussili with grilled Shrimps in Basil and Pesto Sauce and Dimsum & Sushi Stations. I missed the Smoked Bangus Roll!

I was being modest with my dessert plate. I wish I had more. I love everything
in it, especially the Cassava Bites with Cheese!
The Catering by Claudia is truly a celebration of flavor and international taste. A mix of Filipino, Spanish and French cuisines that delightfully entice guests. You would never feel tired of tasting the same old flavor, because of the array of different flavors available in every station.
