Whenever we shop for goods - we always ask ourselves if we go for quality or savings?
Watsons has been running the Switch & Save campaign for years, showing customers that if they switch from leading brand to Watson's brand, they can get excellent quality personal care products at 80% less.
High-profile endorsers like Iya Vilania, Christian Bautista, Tessa Prieto Valdez and Patty Laurel have advocated this campaign.
Some might think that it is all but a promotion. Others are still unconvinced. That's why, Watsons introduced the Switch Test.
Watsons set up unbranded booths in major cities around the country and they put up products against the best of the best. The Switch Test mediator had each customer try out two products - Watson's and the Leader. We experienced the same Switch Test in the even held earlier at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel. We were asked to examine, feel, test and compare the products - and eventually choose the one we prefer.

The team tested lotions, toothbrushes, body scrubs, tissue and even hair irons - in the end, less than 20% of shoppers chose the leading brand over Watsons quality. They were surprised to find out that they can save much more when using and buying Watsons items. 8 out of 10 prefer Watson's quality, not to mention the price.
