Today’s adventure is at SM Mall of Asia for the Oishi Snacktacular Event 2016.
It is on its 3rd year and I was looking forward to it because of the fun that we had at last year’s Oishi Snacktacular.
I was surprised to see (and hear) screaming fans in the SM Mall of Asia Activity Center. I got a hard time looking for the media entrance but I made it just in time when the #KathNiel arrived.

Oishi Snacktacular is truly an exciting and fun-filled event because aside from interactive booths, fan- favorite snacks, and refreshments, fans even got to meet-and-greet Oishi’s iconic Team O members – Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Ramon Bautista, Alex Gonzaga, Slater Young, and Elmo Magalona. The biggest news, there’s a new member of Team O!
The activity area jam-packed! This year’s Oishi Snacktacular is filled with surprises. Day’s before he event, I already received an invitation via mail. As usual, Oishi sends the cutest press kits!
They make the event much more exciting by letting guests earn points for completing the booth challenges. The 10 with the highest scores would get to win 4-Ft Oishi Bag and Php 1,000 Gift Certificates.
I cannot decide which ones to try first. It was like planning for a travel.
Snack Shack
This is one of my favorites from the Oishi Snacktacular. Imagine, taking home all your favorite Oishi snacks that you can fit in the bag for 1 minute! I noticed the bag’s size is smaller now compared to last year. But that is okay. I already got a game plan for this challenge 🙂
So happy with my bag! My tip is to position yourself to the shelf where your fave snacks are displayed then HOARD!!!
Pack & Pose
Bring more people with you to pose to earn more points.
I was quite happy doing solo 🙂
Last year, I got Baconettes Pack, so I decided to get the Classic Oishi pack.

Slush C +
We decided to get some Slush C + for some refreshment. Always good to have Smart C as it is packed with Vitamin C!
Snack Catcher
This must be everyone’s favorite game! I tried this last year and it was fun and challenging. I was hesitant to try it again (and redeem myself Haha) – because I was no longer after the experience – what I wanted is to take home lots of goodies. I didn’t care much about my ego. I want those Oishi snacks. For real!
Rodel is nice enough to take my slot and catch all the snacks he could. He’s awesome! Thank you!!! So glad we stayed a bit longer and extended our patience at lining up 🙂

Oishi added a new booth – the Cuckoo Blaster
It looks so exciting because (1) you get to wear a cute costume (2) I feel like I have height and limb advantage on this game. Too bad we didn’t get to try it because there was a crazy line to it and we have bazzillion snacks to take care of.
Anyway, here are some tips on how to survive the Oishi Snacktacular Event
1. Wear comfortable, light clothes. I opted to wear pants because I thought I would be doing the Snack Catcher. 😀 But I would really prefer to wear shorts. 😀
2. Bring water with you especially if you are snacking on Oishi goodies 🙂
3. Lines can be pretty long. Prepare for that battle.
4. Take lots of photos and videos. The challenges are super fun.
5. Take care of your belongings as the event is open to Public.
6. To enjoy all the challenges, you need to have at least Php 600. The experience is super fun and bringing home Oishi goodies is just a bonus!
