Artist's Room | Oxygen Mini-Concert Series
There is a mutual creativity between music and fashion. As such, fashion brand Oxygen wants to celebrate the arrival of summer with an intimate music session series that showcases some of today's hippest local artists.
Artist's Room is the event you want to be this February 17, 18, 25 and March 5 at select Oxygen stores. The better news - entrance is free!
"We are reintroducing a new Oxygen to the public - one that's more relaxed yet still stylishly up-to-date and cool- and we are starting this summer. Come, Hang Out is our way of saying that there is so much more to Oxygen now. We want to bring people together by promoting youth and street culture and lifestyle - particularly through clothing and music. Moving forward, people can expect the brand to come up with cool and hip streetwear pieces made to perfectly complement the youth's lifestyle." - Jeff Bascon (Oxygen's Brand Director)
I hung out at the first installment of the mini-concert at Oxygen, Trinoma featuring artists Keiko Necesario and Joyce Pring. The mood is chill and relaxed. Oxygen set the mood right with vinyl records and turn table, and comfy pillows. You can say, the store is very instagrammable! Check the hashtag #OXGNComeHangOut for more photos!
I got the time to check out the clothes on display - and boy, I was torn (yet again) which ones to choose. I always love band shirts (check out my recent IG posts!). Oxygen Collection features young, confident pieces of muted tones accentuated by graphic prints and bright candy pinks. It is almost close to the new tone of my IG feed (follow me @ruthilicious!)
There is something for every mood and style. I spotted summer tees in blue, white and grey, jogger pants, washed denim jeans, graphic shirts, light-weight skirts and pink caps.
I delayed my shopping and focused on the music instead.
I have a reason to go back as tomorrow, the Artist's Room will be at Oxygen, Glorietta. See the rest of the schedule below:
