Traveling and experiencing new things are fun. But after a week of seeing new places, I already feel the need to go back home and do a little pampering for myself.




En route back to Manila, I felt that my hair is drier, nail polish chipping, heels aching and skin breaking out. Even if I brought my travel essentials, I still need to visit my go-to salon and skin care clinic. I felt like a troll!

I am still in my post-travel self care phase.  But sharing some of the things that I did as soon as I got home:

1. Body Scrub - I spent a little extra time in the bathroom and scrubbed away dead skin cells. 
2. Foot Spa - I have a foot spa kit at home that I use for quick foot pampering if I don't have the time yet to go to the nail salon. 
3. Deep Hair Conditioning - I used natural conditioning agent (mayonnaise) and hair mask to bring life to my locks. 
4. I clipped my nails.
5. Scheduled a massage service.
6. Scheduled a Facial Treatment at SvelT’i. 


I am going back to my daily skin care routine (with usual scrubs and masks) but I still feel the need to go to my skin care clinic. The change in my general skin care routine, sweet, pollution, dirt and change in diet would result to clogged pores and breakouts. There is no excuse for not going for a facial.
