The joy of being an Althea Angel!

I got 2 new products from Althea Korea and they are perfect hydrating products especially this humid weather in Manila.

My skin has a love-hate relationship with Summer. I have a combination skin and my T-zone gets really oily especially during hot/humid weather. People have a misconception that just because one has an oily skin, you no longer need to moisturize. There is a big difference between oil and water.

Php 700 (80 pads)

Regardless of you skin type and weather, you need to always hydrate your skin.
These two new products from Althea Korea are just perfect.
Waterful Bamboo Pads
It is a tub of 80 pcs moisture pads. It contains bamboo extract that is hydrating essence to smooth skin texture and prep skin before makeup.

The pads are really soft and it is so refreshing. I love using it as a moisturizer (instead of using toner). It feels good in my skin especially during this weather. You can also use this as a face mask or spot mask for areas in the skin (before bedtime).

It has two active ingredients:
CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT
Treats and repairs damaged skin
Hydrating properties to soothe skin
SALIX NIGRA (WILLOW) BARK EXTRACT
Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
Gentle non-irritation treatment for mild troubled skin.

I really love its packaging and it is perfect for travels (saving you from trouble of packing toner and liquid).  I think I will bring this during long haul flights when your skin gets really dry inside the plane. It comes with plastic thongs keeping the rest of the pads sanitized. I wish they included two so I can carefully separate each pad.
The next product is an anti-pollution cream.

Skin Relief Calming Cream

The Skin Relief Calming Cream contains a mix of shea butter and hydrogenated lecithin which nourish the skin and form a moisture barrier while chamomile water and seawater soothe and improves moisture retention in the skin.

I tested and applied it in a part of my face that is easily dried (near my hair line) and eyebrow area. It has a fresh scent, easily absorbed and is moisturizing. I love that it feels light-weight and non-greasy.

Two of the active ingredients are:
SHEA BUTTER
It has skin hydrating properties that nourishes skin and forms a protective moisture barrier.
SEAWATER
Sea water is packed with natural minerals that has anti-aging properties for a radiant glow.
I am keeping this product in my essentials as long as it won’t have a negative effect on my other skin care products.
You can buy both products via Althea Korea

How do you keep fresh and hydrated during summer?
