Last Wednesday, June 28th, SM Hypermart launched the SM Master Chef’s Program in SM Hypermart Cubao to celebrate its 10th Year Anniversary. SM Master Chef is a composite event which consists of three components – grand cooking demo, kitchen make-over, and series of cook-offs.
SM Hypermart joined forces with master brands – Knorr, Nestle All Purpose Cream, Unilever Food Solutions, Tabasco, Lee Kum Kee, Lady’s Choice, Maggi, Clara Ole, Kikkoman Soy Sauce, San Remo, McCormick, Bounty Fresh Chicken, CDO, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog, Purefoods Star Hotdog, Magnolia Cheese Spread, Magnolia Purefresh, Magnolia All Purpose Cream and Magnolia Dari Creme.
The even would spin from July to September – happening every week in 3 months – so better check the nearest SM Hypermart near your area so you can witness the cooking demos and sample the yummy food the master chefs will prepare for the SM Hypermart buyers.

The kitchen make-over is something to be excited about! I’ve seen the showcases and that makes me want another kitchen at home! Five lucky winners would get a chance to have their kitchen redesigned by designers of the Philippine School of Interior Design with as little as Php500 purchase of selected products. The supersized Cooked-Off event is out to mark a record in the culinary history. It would be set in 5 different locations that will feature regional dish with the support of local government unit and community. It’s a perfect venue to showcase regional dishes and discover that Philippines has so much more to offer other than Pampanga’s specialities. 😉
