Ah, jeans. I sure miss wearing them. I still love the flirty skirts and flowy dresses, but after I left my job that required me to be a lady everyday (read – smart casual dress code), I have to put the usual uniform (read – smart casual dresses) in the back side of the closet and embraced the jeans once again.
And since I feel that I am opening a new chapter in my life (how many chapters have I opened? Really?!) , I thought that would give me an excuse to go jeans shopping.
I always find it hard to find the right jeans for me – I need them long, in petite figure. I am happier that more and more international brands are opening in Manila and giving me the sizes I need for both pants and shoes! #tallgirlproblem
I found myself inside Stradivarius Store in East Wing of Shangri-la Mall one lazy afternoon (lazy because I had to spend the afternoon in the mall after I attended a morning event, and had to wait for the evening event). It was the red banner on display that hypnotized me to go inside. The pants are on sale!
Most of the sizes which are on sale are broken sizes, so expect that you will not see sizes 36 and 34. I fished through the jeans on display, and I was lucky that their visual merchandiser is patient enough to accommodate my requests.
Stradivarius is a Spanish brand and I like their clothes – more like Cotton On, and Aeropostale.

On a different (lazy) afternoon, I also found a good pair in Forever 21. Tall Petite in slim fit is loooove! This pair is only Php515, but when I got to the counter, they even gave me 20% discount.
