Catering by Claudia, the official catering arm of the Romulo Food Group hosted a grand buffet showcasing the signature food of the Romulo restaurants through a ten-station buffet in the Romulo Lounge last Friday. It is a pioneer business of husband-and-wife tandem, Enzo Squillantini and Sandie Romulo-Squillantini. Yours truly, together with select blogger friends were invited to have a grand feast!
I seldom go to an all-Filipino buffet because we feel that the dishes can be easily cooked at home, but I was delighted by the array of the food presented that afternoon – food stations represent the favorite dishes and preparations the Romulo restaurants are known for. The first time I tasted the offerings from Romulo Café, I was impressed with the innovation of the Filipino food. Catering by Claudia use and infuse different ingredients into the favorite dishes to come up with delightful new offerings. I didn’t know where to start! I usually go straight to the main meal and skip the appetizers, but this time around, I just had to try the unique appetizer spread.
