I love mantra bracelets, and this set is a new addition! I wish I could have something engraved which says ” What Ruth Wants, Ruth Gets” 😉
After 5 years, I am back in Boracay. I welcomed the summer early, and the island welcomed us with summer heat and cool winds at night. I love this state of Boracay. Peaceful, lesser crowd, with the right dose of parties and entertainment.
I will share more stories on my travel blog www.whereiwalktall.com, but for now, let me share with you some outfit stories.
For those who are looking for beach outfit inspiration, and ideas on what to wear in Boracay.. read on.
[En Route to Boracay]
Top: Denim Top from GTW (teen’s section! yes)
Shorts: White Shorts
Slippers: Crocs (ever reliable)
Bag: Gift from Dove 😉
Location: Henann Logooon Resort, Boracay
I always wear comfortable clothes when traveling. Even though flight time is only an hour from Manila to Kalibo, land travel to Kalibo to Caticlan is around 1.5 hours. It is good to wear something light and comfortable.
[Off to the Beach]
Black Top: Terranova
Wear something light when walking on the shore and make sure that you wear a tank top or sleeveless top so you get even tanned skin even without taking your shirt off. Notice that I am slathering on some Vaseline lotion.. well, keep on following because I would let you know how to win a trip to Bali with me!
PS. I love walking on the white, powdery sand.
[Night at the Beach]
Top: People are People
Shorts: Forever 21
Scarf: Tied around to cover the stain!
I had a little accident on the beach out of drinking cocktails so I had to wear my scarf for some cover up 😉
[Date Night at the Beach]
Skirt: SM Teen’s Wear that I got for Php 150!
Clutch: iPad Case used as clutch – Lumbera x Freeway
I thought of wearing long skirt the following night because I know mosquitos are out looking for the next prey. Maxi dresses are so-so for me, plus, I needed a nice printed skirt in case I get another accident 🙂 Paired with black cropped top from Lazada (under it is a pair of old Victoria Secret’s two piece 🙂 in case I thought of taking a quick dip. I brought and wore inexpensive watch that I can wear and match with any of my clothes. I love the clutch because it protected my camera and mobile phone. This ensemble is also something I can wear in Manila.
I hope you find this post helpful. Next blog stories would be about the hotel where we stayed – Henann Lagoon Resort and the yummy buffet offerings at Sea Breeze Cafe.
No swimsuit posts now. Maybe I’ll post on my Instagram @ruthilicious! Follow me!
