Cherry Mobile Android One G1

August 11, 2015
In a room of pastel shades and dainty displays, the new Cherry Mobile Android One G1 stood out at the Vanilla Cupcakes store in Mother Ignacia. The launch was attended by tech and lifestyle bloggers eager to see and experience the newest addition from Cherry Mobile’s Andoid One line up.

Android G1 is certified by Google which boasts a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor under its hood backed by an Adreno 306 graphics-processing unit. It is an upgrade to its predecessor with an increase of two gigabytes of RAM with 16 GB built-in-memory. It can also be expanded up to 64 GB for added storage via microSD card.
The new Android One G1 is sleek and easy on the hands running with Android 5.1 Lollipop and packed with 2500 mAh.
The display is 5″ Ips display, protected by a scratch resistant Dragontail Glass Panel.
I got the chance to experience and test its camera during the launch and the 13 MP BSI supported camera with dual LED flash can take good pictures even on warm environment. The same is true with the 5 MP front-camera.
The Android One device is the only LTE capable device available in the market today. It is also built with WIFI and Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities that keep users connected.
The Cherry Mobile Android One G1 is available at Cherry Mobile Concept Stores and kiosks nationwide for only Php 5,999.
