Fiesta Verde: Food and Health Festival

August 18, 2015
The Tzu Chi Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in Taiwan in 1966 dedicated to the field of charity, medical and environment protection will hold an exciting food festival.
Mark your calendars: August 22 to 23 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Metro Tent along Ortigas Avenue (in front of Marco Polo hotel).
What to expect?
There will be several booths offering vegetarian cuisine, nutritious juices, food supplements, fresh produce, fruit preserves, a variety of herbs and a wide range of sustainable and local cooking ingredients. Expect to find plants, organic toiletries, and cookbooks too.
The food fest is also a celebration of art as The Artists’ Heart painters mentored by Roland Santos, Fernando Sena and Lupicinio “Peter” Ng have donated their works to augment the fund raising. Paintings by Penk Ching, Margie Yu, Imelda Tan, Grace Olores, and Peter Ng will be for sale.
All proceeds will go to the Tzu Chi Foundation which presence in the 54 countries has helped many people including those who have been affected by typhoon in Leyte.
See you this weekend!
