The LUMOS FLOAT Projector, like the other LUMOS projectors, is very straightforward and simple to use. What makes it unique compared to earlier releases is that it is the first 360° rotatable projector designed to project on both walls and ceilings.
It comes with a unique hangable SkyTrack for mounting above the bed or on the wall – perfect for those with limited space.
Weighing only 750g, it is incredibly light and compact. The hookable stand makes it easy to mount anywhere with 3M hooks. This design allows you to enjoy the projector without drilling nails or buying additional stands just to get the perfect position. Since most rental homes have strict rules about drilling, this feature is ideal for renters.
Despite my small and narrow space at home, the LUMOS FLOAT was able to cast and project clearly. It can fill an entire wall with up to 150 inches of screen, depending on the room’s dimensions. You only need a distance of 1.5m to project a huge 50″ screen!
Even at short distances, the LUMOS FLOAT provides an impressive 1080p supported resolution (native 720p), making it 225% clearer than other standard projectors on the market.
The sound quality is also impressive for its size. With its dual speaker system, the LUMOS FLOAT delivers clear, room-filling sound – no need to buy extra speakers for a complete home cinema experience.

My Final Verdict
The LUMOS FLOAT Projector is probably my favorite projector from the LUMOS line. It truly offers flexibility, convenience, and value for money. While most standard projectors require bulky stands, complicated mounting, or even drilling into walls, the LUMOS FLOAT’s 360° rotatable design and SkyTrack system make setup effortless – especially for renters or those with smaller spaces. It’s also lightweight and portable, giving it an edge over heavier, less mobile projectors.
