10 Fave Moments from the BLACKPINK Deadline Concert in Philippine Arena

November 23, 2025

Attending the BLACKPINK Deadline World Tour at the Philippine Arena was an unforgettable experience – and even more special because it was my first time ever watching BLACKPINK live. I became a fan after watching their journey on Netflix, but witnessing their performance in person made me appreciate and adore them even more. 🖤💗

Sharing my 10 favorite moments from the concert (trust me, there were so many more!). Let’s start with the pre-concert activities.

Going to Philippine Arena

We booked our shuttle service via SM Tickets which handles official shuttle services for the concert. We paid Php 450 for the ticket and we booked the 3:00 PM slot. We were quite worried that we might be late for the activities and concert at 6:00 PM. But thankfully, the shuttle left on time and it only took us 1.5 hours to get to Philippine Arena.

I love that the ticketing for the shuttle has strict control point. You have to enter your ticket number and the concert date should match the same slot you are booking. The shuttle is a first come, first served basis.

What I Wore to the Concert

As a serial outfit repeater, I wore my usual tennis skirt paired with a pink tank top and a denim jacket. I wore boots because they’re the most comfortable for me. That’s the most BLACKPINK-coded outfit I could put together without spending too much on clothes. I always choose comfort when dressing up – I want to make sure I can run easily (in case of emergency) and use the toilet without any hassle.

The weather outside the Philippine Arena is hot and humid, but it gets cold inside, so wearing something light with a jacket you can easily slip on was the perfect combo.

Pre – Concert and Maya Booth

When we arrived at the venue, the energy was already unreal! I think one of the reasons I love going to Philippine Arena for concert is because of the pre-concert vibes. You can already hear the music blasting outside and everyone looked amazing in their BLACKPINK-inspired outfits.

But let’s be honest—it was a bit of a hassle to head out after the concert, a minor inconvenience for just two hours of an unforgettable experience.

We headed straight to the Maya booth to check out the photo spots (the lines were pretty long though), but the best part was scoring exclusive gift just by presenting our Limited-Edition Pink Glitter Maya Card!

We got to choose between a powerbank and a fan. I went for the fan – I already knew it would be a lifesaver after the show.

When we got inside the arena, we got time to have a quick snack and use the toilet. There are many food stalls outside where you can buy drinks and meals (including rice meals!). Payment is easy with Cash and Maya Card.

My seatmates – Ces and Eason (thank you Eason for the earplugs!)

Still thinking if I should get one? Hehe still saving a lot for upcoming concert (pro – tip: use Maya Savings for better interest rates!)

10 Favorite Moments from the BLACKPINK Deadline Concert

Now, sharing the 10 Favorite Moments from the BLACKPINK Deadline Concert in Philippine Arena, Day One.

1. The moment they first appeared

That exact second when the lights dimmed, the screens flashed, and the girls started singing! Just like in the many concerts, it just felt unreal. They looked so gorgeous and cute in their outfits, too!

2. The live feed + cinematic camera angles

One thing that truly stood out was the camera work. The live feed wasn’t just a screen – it felt like a full-blown music video experience. It is nice to give audience a front-row experience.

3. The solo performances

Each member’s solo stage had its own flavor, energy, and personality. Jisoo’s soft girl energy, Jennie’s power, Lisa’s rockstar charisma, and Rosé’s warmth – their individuality shined and complemented each other. I always adore Rosé, but for some reason, I started to stan Jisoo and her soft ways.

4. Rosé arriving in style + eating turon

Rosé ‘s solo performance came without an Opening Billboard, but with Rosé riding a toy car (?) and eating a turon (I heard on Day 2, she ate Halo Halo!), she does know how to arrive in style! It felt like Rosé was really connecting with the Filipino BLINKs through the only way we know how to love – sharing our food and eating well!

5. Rosé performing “Apt.” and bringing a fan on stage

This was easily one of the highlights – seeing Rosé perform “Apt.” live already felt like a rock concert! But when she welcomed and hugged a lucky BLINK onstage? 😍 I love when she handed her the mic and allowed her to sing – even pulling her on the center stage. She is really that sweet and warm girl.

6. Playful moments between Jisoo and Jennie

Jisoo and Jennie gave us classic unnie-line energy – playful, sweet interactions with the camera/audience.

7. The stage and production

The whole experience was fun with pyrotechnics, lasers, confetti, and perfectly timed lighting cues matching the girls’ every move and choreography. It was so fun!

8. The Pink Ocean

One of the most beautiful moments was seeing the entire arena glow in pink – lightsticks ruled that night – whether it is for a soft song, or banger like Jump.

9. “Mahal Ko Kayo, Talaga!”

Hearing the girls speak Tagalog and saying the most touching Tagalog line is really sweet and heart-melting!

10. Just the whole experience!

At the end, it is not just a BLACKPINK concert, it is an experience! 🥰
