Physiogel: Free in Your Skin

November 11, 2014

It is never too late to share a good story. Allow me to share the event which my friend has covered last month – the Physiogel’s #FreeinYourSkin campaign.

The new campaign features model and TV host, Patti Grandidge as she highlights the importance of taking care of one’s skin. The campaign also honors women who overcome their insecurities and be who they always want to be.

Patti Laurel hosted the event

Joining in to share their stories, Karima Castro – dentist and Physiogel user,
and Mica Tuano – make-up artist who used to work as copywriter and pursue her passion.

Patti Grandidge admitted that she used to be insecure over her skin because it is dry and sensitive. She shared that with Physiogel, she became free from dry and sensitive skin. She now believes in the power of having a good skin and that empowered her to motivate more women to take care of their skin.

I personally understand how having a good skin is important in building one’s confidence. I don’t think I would ever feel confident wearing shorts or skirt if I have such bad skin – but sometimes, I get too lazy at taking care of them because I thought my skin condition would always stay smooth and moisturized. I have forgotten about life’s biggest antagonists – stress, pollution and lifestyle habits.

Thankfully, there is Physiogel – it is non-comedogenic, and hypoallergenic which is made for dry, sensitive skin. It features the Derma Membrane Structure (DMS) technology that infuses your skin with ceramides and lipids that mimic the skin’s own lipid layers, thus locking in moisture to soothe, protect, and heal the skin.

I love the cream which is easily applied and absorbed by the skin. It also helps moisturize and smoothen the skin like elbows and knees (don’t we just hate rough skin on those parts?). 🙂

Thank you Physiogel for this beautiful campaign and for reminding us to feel beautiful about our skin.

PS. Thank you Larae for covering the event!
