The unique Filipino trait of giving pasalubong or gift from the place that you have visited is now being observed by people from different parts of the globe. Â I personally love to bring something from Philippines to give to the host party whenever I get invited on international travels.Â
I personally love bringing Goldilock’s pulvoron because Goldilocks is easily accessible from my place. During my one-month trip to Indonesia, I even gave miniature Jeepney displays to my new friends from Brazil, Mexico, India and USA.Â
Now, I can buy local snacks and delicacies from the different islands in the Philippines without riding a boat or visiting islands. I simply need to visit select Robinson’s Supermarket and check out the Island Favorites section.Â

Robinson’s Supermarket relaunches its Island Favorites section in select stores, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry’s One Town, One Product Program (OTOP). Robinson’s will feature a variety of locally made products.Â
Â
When I say variety of products, I meant favorite pasalubongs from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
One can easily shop and pick his/her favorites as products are displayed per island.Â
Â
Â
I found the local favorites and some new interesting products in very nice packaging. I found Ilocos Fish Crackers, Cebu Dried Mango Chips Memer Durian Candies, Peanut Kisses El Tesoro de Cebu Turrones de Mani, Pampanga Chicharon, and Bundy Wine.Â
OTOP Philippines is a priority program of the government to promote entrepreneurship and create jobs by promoting patronage of products using indigenous raw materials and local skills and talent.Â
Visit and buy now and help make a difference by supporting Filipino products 🙂
