Every Woman Should Own an Aranaz Bag | The Aranaz x Plains & Prints Collection
Every woman should have an ARANAZ Bag. Classic, modern yet practical bag. It is always a statement to carry one.
ARANAZ is a fashion label that started in 1999 that has both local and international following. The brand is popular for integrating exotic prints and indigenous artisan crafts to produce chic and modern handbags.
It is exciting how ARANAZ”s signature style translated beyond handbags as it collaborates with another local brand, Plains & Prints for a capsule collection that mixes modern and traditional.
The #AranazforPlainsandPrints was launched in the Plains & Prints Store in Trinoma last April 11, 2018. I was surprised how the store was transformed into a function hall with a beautiful setup by Cart Tales. The girly pastel colors of the store served as a beautiful background for the tropical prints and summer vibes of the new collection.
The ARANAZ x Plains & Prints Collection features 8 handbags and 7 fashion pieces that combine the unique design elements of ARANAZ with Plains & Prints‘ signature silhouettes and fabric designs.
Plains & Prints took cues from the ARANAZ aesthetics by translating luxury label’s iconic flamingo, coconut, and pineapple prints into various pieces. While the bags bear ARANAZ‘s intricate weaves using locally sourced materials.
This is the first time that ARANAZ has collaborated with a local retail fashion brand. We are as excited as the brand’s Creative Director, Amina Aranaz-Alunan.

You guys know how deeply in love I am recently with woven bags! I want a handbag that is stylish, yet practical – at least one that can allow me to bring “all the stuff that I need ” (I promised myself not to carry too much items) – so that Stella Hobo Bag looks perfect! But then again, a beautiful classic clutch like the Elena Clutch is always nice to carry to 1. cover my non-existent abs 😁 and 2. to feel royal – seriously, to have a bag to keep both my hands off awkward handshakes or holding hands? 🤔
I super enjoyed the launch and didn’t get to take decent photos of the collection. It was hard to take photos in indoor lighting and my camera was wrongly set. So let me just share these:

The #AranazforPlainsandPrints Collection will be available starting April 19, 2018. Get a Limited Edition Journal when you purchase one apparel and one bag from the collection from April 19 to May 10, 2018.
The apparel will be available in all Plains & Prints stores nationwide and online www.plainsandprints.com, ZALORA, Lazada and Amazon, while the handbags will be exclusively sold in select branches and online platforms only.
