The milk tea craze is still on as F Crafted Tea opens its store in Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Paranaque. 

What makes this new milk tea player different from other milk tea stores? It all boils down to the quality of teas.

F Crafted Tea‘s history dates back 2 years ago, as Jane Fernando flew to Hong Kong to attend a tea exhibit. In the search of premium loose tea leaves to import back to Manila, she chanced upon a meeting with tea sommelier who introduced her to a different level of the high-end tea experience. And just last weekend, Jane opened the F Crafted Tea as she feels Filipinos deserve a high-quality milk tea experience. 

F Crafted Tea is a local artisan tea shop with brand partner based from Hong Kong under Jrink and Tea Express Bar by JRINK that promotes premium high quality loose leaf teas crated from different part of the world like Canada, Thailand, South Africa and China. 

Having experience working in a coffee and tea industry, I have an idea of what a good and quality tea means. For milk teas, I always go for the traditional black tea concoction – and they suggested French Rose Black Tea. I love that it is smooth, with a balanced flavor of black tea and milk.  Somehow, I felt that it tastes fragrant. I can taste and smell the French Rose!

Four tea types dominate the F Crafted Tea menu listing which includes French Rose Black Tea, HIghland Oolong Tea, Jasmine Green Tea and one of the rarest tea variants, Jasmine White Tea. Other variants are sourced from 20 tea sources around the world.

Some of the most exquisite and rare teas you can order from F Crafted Tea includes Buttefly Pea, Rooibos, Thai Black, and Canada Mixed Berries fruit tea. It’s one of the premium artisinal tea variants from Northern woods of Canada. A good mix of fruits like Hibiscus, apple pieces, rose chips elderberries, orange peels, strawberris and refershing flowers, and marigold flowers with lush natural flavors.  I can almost taste the different infused flavors of these ingredients. Looking forward to trying out everything soon. 

Another tea variant from Canada is the Lattea Latte. A good substitute for your coffee, with less caffeine, but with same amount of anti-oxidants.  It contains black tea, broken cocoa bits, almond brittle bits, coffee beans, and freeze-dried yogurt pieces.

Aside from the quality of ingredients and teas that F Crafted Tea brings to its customers, the cocktail technique of shaking each ta also gives a delightful floral aroma and lighter, frothier taste to its drinks.
