Hotel Review: Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites, Boracay
Last-minute decision to travel to Boracay and we found our home at Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites.
We stayed in a one-bedroom suite in Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites. The hotel is just a quick walk from the D’Mall, centrally located near Bulabog Beach and White Beach. It is near downtown where things are still happening. The people in the “neighborhood” are friendly, and there are nearby stores where you can buy “essentials”.
The most important thing, Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites is well-maintained and clean – from the lobby to staircases and room. Cleanliness is my biggest consideration when booking a hotel.
One of the things that stood out during our stay in Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites is the friendly staff. I am amazed that everyone seemed to know my name and they always greet me (even if it was just a quick bump into the elevator or hallway). There is no exaggeration when I said, everyone greeted me with my first name. It sure made me smile and brighten my mood despite the cloudy and rainy weather during our second day.
The bed is comfortable, and the bedsheets are clean and fresh. I love that there are outlets all over the room, and I appreciate the accessories tray on the bedside table where I kept my watch and rings organized.
Our room is a suite room which is very spacious. I love the furniture and warm design. It has the usual hotel amenities like complimentary bottled water, coffee, TV with cable, air-conditioner, safety box, and mini bar.
They welcomed us with fruits and glass of white wine (which we didn’t get to drink because we were too tired and we had an early flight back).
Our room came with Free Breakfast. I love the selection of Continental Breakfast and the addition of local delicacies like puto, bibingka and Tablea hot chocolate. Too bad for us that we booked an early flight back to Manila but they even prepared packed breakfast for us! That is really sweet of Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites. Thank you!!!
Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites has a roof-top bar with pool. We spent our evenings here just hanging out and enjoying drinks. I would have loved to take a dip but unfortunately, it is not a heated pool. But still, you can enjoy the view and the stars.
On our last night, Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites invited us for a complimentary dinner! I didn’t expect they would set up a nice table beside the pool and served us A LOT! My friend is vegan so I had to eat all the meat. Hehe. Obviously, I didn’t get to finish everything – they offered for me to take them out but I know I could no longer finish them. Huhhh. Thinking about food now.
Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites made sure that they prepared something for my friend and that he also enjoyed his meal. The staff is so attentive to our needs that they made sure we are comfortable. Before we left, they asked for a selfie. We gave them our “heart”.
(I am seriously thinking of the food as I write this. Haha)
