Who is FuBear?
Hailing from the country of Taiwan, FuBear is a character shaped in the likeness of the Formosan Black Bear—Taiwan’s national animal. FuBear represents Taiwan Excellence’s values of cheering on anyone for contributions to their communities, whether the actions may be simple or grand in scale. FuBear is on a mission to encourage the spirit of excellence by giving high fives around the globe, and it now begins its mission in the Philippines
FuBear @ Eldar’s Mega Birthday Bash in Enchanted Kingdom
In celebration of the 30 years since the opening of the theme park, Enchanted Kingdom held a ceremony for the birthday of their mascot titled “Eldar’s Mega Birthday Bash.” FuBear made its appearance on stage during the program, sharing a high five with Eldar the Wizard for spreading 30 years of enjoyment to millions of Filipino families.

After the ceremony, FuBear roamed around the theme park—offering high fives to longtime followers and new fans alike. Many parkgoers stopped to take pictures with FuBear, enjoying its presence in Enchanted Kingdom.
In a brief interview with one parkgoer, a mother shares her excitement as a fan of FuBear. “I’m here in the park to enjoy some family bonding with my two kids. Seeing FuBear was definitely a welcome surprise and a great addition to our day. I’ve been following FuBear on social media because it’s such a super cute mascot all while being so motivating. My kids and I were so excited when we got high fives from the real life FuBear!”
