I feel like the year always starts in February; or should I say, the day after my birthday.
I am writing and telling you stories about how my birthday went, but I honestly feel like I am stuck at age 28. I don’t usually plan anything on my birthday; I feel like I can celebrate my life every day and make an ordinary day special. Sometimes I wonder if I am missing a lot because of how I refuse to plan for my birthday.
But the universe makes big moves for me, and the people around me always make me feel extra special on my birthday – like arranging a surprise birthday dinner or planning a staycation. Last year, I got to travel despite the threat of Covid-19, and it was a really nice experience.
This year is another birthday story, I got to watch and enjoy BTS Yet to Come Concert in Cinema with friends in the blogging industry. It was my first time watching a BTS Concert (the goal is still the same, to watch the Live Concert!) 💜

with the funny girls Tracy, Paxie, Ava and Ana! 💜

Ana brought her extra Army Bomb for me and prepared concert freebies!
We booked our tickets at Estancia Mall Cinema: The Screening Room and we got the cinema all to ourselves! It was a blast! We paid Php 750 each for the cinema ticket that came with popcorn and bottled water. The cinema is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Tracy, who was able to watch the live concert said that the audio quality is similar to the concert venue.
Only an Army would understand why we go crazy over these 7 boys from Korea. Personally, what I admire most about BTS is their team dynamics, and how they make music to tell their stories. 💜
While it is the biggest fantasy to marry 😁 or even be with a BTS member, it is comforting to know that we also have an RM, a Jin, a Suga, a J-Hope, a Jimin, a V, and a Jungkook in our lives.
(okay, I actually wanted to be as rich as J-Hope and afford to send a coffee cart to my friends) 😍

We continued fangirling over dinner and coffee. It is really nice to connect with people who share your interests and understand the weird things you love about life. 😂 Props to Ana for the cute birthday headbands for my birthday photo. She’s really sweet and cute!

Borahae girls!
It was the day before my birthday, and it was a beautiful day.💜
My birthday was spent at home where I just continued fangirling. It was like an ordinary day for me except that my Messenger was full of love and birthday greetings.
Blessings are spending the whole day doing things I love, eating my favorite food, and just enjoying the stillness and peace at home.
I love hearing from people who matter, especially those who shared their favorite moments with me (some are my favorite moments in my life, too!). I can’t wait to create more memories with them (and meet up for the post-birthday celebration) 🤗
They say you attract the same energy that you have, and God will remove the things/people who are not good for you. It is really nice to be surrounded by beautiful souls. ✨
Age is just a number and it only matters when you are applying for insurance coverage (not kidding). 😁Segue, if you don’t have insurance coverage yet, or you are looking to invest your money, PM me @ruthilicious.

The best is truly yet to come. Celebrating life every day and forever feeling young. 💜
Love this Ruthie!! To more hangouts this year, ganda ng simula! 🙂
Thank you, Ana for reading and visiting the blog 💜 I love what you do for the Kpop Fandom in PH 💜🙂
