Bio-Oil Now in Philippines: Lara Quigaman’s Little Skin Secret

September 23, 2013

In one of the function rooms of Edsa Shangri-la Hotel, Lara Quigaman – Alcaraz sashayed in the dining hall to the stage and revealed her little skin secret to looking young and beautiful.

Yes, it is finally here in the Philippines – Bio-Oil, the specialist skincare oil that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretchmarks and uneven skin tone; and it was Lara Quigaman – Alcaraz who got to test the new product before it was officially launched, and it appears that the product is working well for her. She seems flawless that evening – and confident with the new skin discovery.

As a beauty queen who embraced marriage and motherhood, Lara also embraced the most dreaded thing about pregnancy – stretchmarks! I am personally scared of stretchmarks, that even the word itself sometimes stresses me. But aging and skin aging are things that we cannot just run away from – we can just probably delay them.

The good thing is, there is Bio-Oil with formulation of combined plant extracts and vitamins suspended in an oil base.

I have seen so many times the teaser videos for this brand/product (unknowingly that it is for Bio-Oil), especially ads in youtube videos which features Lara talking about her little secret that she couldn’t reveal just yet.

During the event, OB-Gyne and medical practitioners were invited to discuss how one gets stretchmarks and damaged skin. Bad news, there is no cure for stretchmarks, but the good news is, Bio-Oil is now here in the Philippines which helps improve the skin appearance.

We caught Lara outside the function room and she
was looking gorgeous and stunning.

Although I am not the type who usually jump to trying new products, I am excited about this new little secret – especially that it has won 135 skincare awards, and has become number one scar and stretch mark product in 16 countries.

Lara shared that when she posted and revealed her secret in instagram, people started asking about it, and some even offered to buy from them – which are expensive. Bio-Oil is actually really affordable.

Here are the skin conditions that Bio-Oil can help improve:

Bio-Oil helps improve the appearance of both new and old scars.

Bio-Oil is formulated to help reduce the possibility of stretchmarks forming during periods of rapid change in body size.

Uneven Skin Tone

Bio-Oil helps improve the appearance of pigmentation marks and blemishes caused by hormonal fluctuations, skin lighteners or excessive sun exposure.

Ageing Skin

Bio-Oil helps smooth and tone ageing and wrinkled skin on both the face and body.

Dehydrated Skin

Bio-Oil helps supplement the skin’s natural oils stripped away by factors such as extreme weather, water with high chemical content, frequent bathing and the drying effects of central heating or air coniditioner.

Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Calendula Oil (helps to treat damaged skin), Lavander Oil (provides calming and soothing benefit and natural antiseptic), Rosemary Oil (conditions skin), Chamomile Oil (has anti-inflammatorypropoerties) and Purecillin Oil (reduces the thickness of formulation which improves the application and spreadability which makes it more absorbed by the skin).

I was so excited to try this product, and here I was doing the unboxing ceremony. I applied it in my problem area and I am surprised that the consistency is light and it is easily absorbed. I really hope it works for me, and do wonders to my skin. I will sure keep you posted on the progress.

Curious where to get this little secret? You may buy Bio-Oil in the Philippines from Mercury Drug, Watsons Personal Store, Rose Pharmacy, South Star and other leading drugstores for only Php495 (60 ml).

Now that Lara’s little skin secret has been revealed, are you gonna try it too?
