Here’s another reason to be excited about the Philippine shopping scene – French fashion brand, Camaieu (ka-me-yo) has opened its second store in the Philippines at the 3rd floor of the SM Mega Fashion Hall.Â
Camaieu (means “assorted tones“) was created in 1984, and has made its mission to offer women with better variety in terms of dressing up through fun, wearable pieces. Camaieu is available in 20 countries – France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Belgium, Luxembourg, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab of Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Morocco, Switzerland, Indonesia, Kazakstan and now Philippines.Â

Fun accessories and trinkets
To make the store opening a little more fun that evening, the team prepared a game for the invited bloggers. A dress-up challenge! We were divided into 3 groups and each group were given a theme based on Camaeiu’s collection. We need to wear at least one piece of clothing based on the theme, and we have to present the ensembles in 15 minutes.Â

She’s super cute and fun. I do watch her at Net 25 😉
The themes were – Aztec, Denim and Knit. For our team – Kath, Jen, Justin, Helen and I – we were assigned the Knit.Â
It didn’t occur to me that this kind of challenge would be so stressful. I thought grabbing any piece that you want from the store is the ultimate shopper’s dream. Anyway, here’s a quick pic of our look.Â
My inspiration was the usual ensembles I wear put together when I was still working: skirt, plain top, and cardigan/blazer. I love the boots, and I am so happy to know Camaeiu carries my shoe size. Yay! I even completely forgotten to grab some accessories. I meant to wrap my hair with scarf but there is such a thing as time limit.Â
Anyway, Camaeiu picked winners from the bloggers pool and you have the power to choose the best style (and get a chance to win awesome prize!). Check out the Camaeiu Philippines Fanpage for details.Â
Thank you Camaeiu for having me, and for the fun event!
Visit Camaïeu at the newly-opened Megamall Fashion Hall and at the Shangri-La East Wing. Soon to open in Ayala Terraces Fairview and SM BF Paranaque.
