From London to Manila, Philippines, one would get a taste of London’s favorite British Denim Jeans brand with the opening of Lee Cooper London’s first store in the Philippines.
The store gives that British beat vibe with a vivid red interior and a touch of Union Jack in every corner and wall. It is a standout with its iconic British design of red telephone boxes, Mini Cooper toys, electric guitars and ambient music from different British music icons. It felt like shopping in the streets of East London (not that I have been to London), but truly the store gives a good new shopping experience.

Lee Cooper London is a British Denim and Apparel brand which was founded by Morris Cooper in 1908, in Stanford, East London and is the first jeans company in Europe. From “work wear” and “military wear” to “must wear” – the brand innovates with its product designs.
Lee Cooper is not new in the denim industry and it is one of the biggest brands supporting music and musicians like Beatles and U2. I have seen the Lee Cooper x Beatles collection online, and it is truly a must-have!
The event was attended by Lee Cooper London executives, media friends and fashion bloggers, including international brand ambassadors. It is a big opening but rather intimate. We got the chance to talk to some of the Lee Cooper big bosses. The inspiration to bring Lee Cooper London in Manila is the timely approach of introducing the brand in Asia.
Price range is very affordable playing from Php 1,200 to Php 1,800 for pair of jeans, and shirts start at Php 699. The store offers awesome collections of accessories from bags, eyewear, belts and caps. In line with the opening, Lee Cooper London also launched the British Indigo collection. Indigo fabrics form the backbone of the collection from the rugged and raw dark-denim to the softer and blurred indigo piece. It centers with play on carpenter pants and vests that finishes from clean and sharp to shaded worn-in.
I love that the store offers more than the usual blue jeans and boring t-shirts.. I kind of enjoyed the store opening and went home with a shopping loot!
Lee Cooper sure know how to make an iconic event – remember the Great British Invasion event that happened in the Fort? Thank you to Lee Cooper for bringing us the streets of London. In the newly opened store in Market, Market Taguig, Lee Cooper also created a pop-up of the Lee Cooper London display to guide shoppers where to go..
