The biggest news that arrived in my mailbox today – H&M is finally opening its flagship store in the Philippines! I immediately scrolled down at the Save the Date just to make sure that I am in town when it happens.
You should save the date too! H&M will open on October 17, 2014 at 9am until midnight at the Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall. Just how big is the store? Approximately 3,000 square meters and will encompass three floors that will carry brand’s full assortment for women, men, teenagers and children, including athletic wear and lingerie.

The opening will coincide with the launch of the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. This special collection is all about the modern-day bohemian woman, presenting playful prints, earthy colors and flowy silhouettes. I hope the cuts, styles and materials are wearable in a Tropical country 🙂 For men, Autumn 2014 mixes Parisian cool with the attitude of London and the sleekness of New York to create a wardrobe for the mod urbanite.
I hope the pieces are at par with the price range in other H&M stores. Part of me is excited, part of me is sad – because the store opening would mean one less happy place to go to when you are out and traveling. But I am just delighted that H&M is nearer! Let’s help the Philippine economy and shop!!
