Maginhawa Food Trip Part 2: Casa Quesadilla – A Taste of Mexican

December 9, 2014

A short walk and quick turn from Katz Diner, we found Casa Quesadilla as our second stop for the Maginhawa Food Panda Food Crawl.

The store’s ambiance is festive and inviting. Simple walls with colorful, decorative pieces that scream Mexican feasts. There is a sombrero tucked neatly in the menu board, and colorful skulls including the authentic calaberas the owners bought in Mexico.

Question, what to order from Casa Quesadilla?

Mexico is one of the countries I am planning to visit very, very soon. I have friends who live in Mexico (Hello Eduardo and Javier!) and they are really fine Latinos! They love festivities and fun times. It is good to know that I can experience Mexican food (at affordable prices) in Maginhawa Street!

I was still feeling full from the heavy breakfast we had at Katz Diner, but when were were served with Mexican favorites, I couldn’t protest.

Our dear friends, Rodel Flordeliz, Ryan San Juan and Alex Dizon joined us to the Food Crawl!
Ah.. Dynamite is the bomb! This plate is only Php 99!
Spinach and Chicken Quesa Php 130 is my favorite! Each serving has generous cheese shavings!
Mexican Beef Quesa Php 110 is another good choice or go for the Ultimate Nachos Php 130 which is perfect for sharing with friends.
For heavier meals, there is Burrito – you can choose Chicken (Php 120) or Mexican Beef (Php 130)
I thought each of the dishes goes well with the salsa and the sour cream sauce! The items are reasonably priced but my favorite is the Dynamite Rolls!

Casa Quesadilla also has their famous Hot Sauce!

Again, I would have wanted to stay and eat more Dynamite Rolls, but we needed to go for the next stop. Look at the boss looking at you, kid!
Thank you for having us! 🙂
