Levis celebrated every woman’s greatness and achievement through the launch of Levi’s new Women’s Denim Fall Collection for 2015. Levis made the night a lot more memorable for the launch as they brought Asian Superstar and former F4 member, Vanness Wu in Manila (add a dozen exclamation point here please!)

Vanness was only a meter away (not a meteor away!) from where I was standing and his energy was electrifying that even the sound of screams and squeals from the ladies didn’t matter to me. 

Before he entered and owned the stage, Levis showcased the Women’s Denim Collection via a fashion show which also featured the ladies who rock the world in Manila including bloggers Vernice and Vern Encisio, Jenni Eperson and Kevin Bayot.

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

Levi’s being an iconic denim leader for 80 years understands a woman’s body and how to enhance her shape, the styles she wants to wear and the details on how to transform a good jean into the perfect jean. 

I remember owning only Levi’s jeans when I was in 16. It was so hard for me to buy jeans that fit me because I was tall and too skinny and at that time there were only a few international brands available in Manila.

Now, Levi’s has a pair of pants for every woman. For Asian Women, there’s a slimmer thigh, flattering leg and controured seat for a little lift. These styles include 711 Skinny, 712 Slim 714 Straight, 715 Bootcut and 721 High Rise Skinny. 

For the Fall 2015 Collection, Levi’s paired the knowledge with the innovation and relevancy of today. Levi’s capitalized on innovations such as using the most advanced stretch and recovery, signature authentic Levi’s details and world-class finishing. 

The global brand campaign of Fall 2015 is highlighted by support of award-winning singer/song-writer, producer and activist, Alicia Keys who lend her voice and style for the new transformational women’s denim collection. Her powerful voice is featured in “28,000 Days” an exclusive song at the soundtrack of campaign. 

Just when the fashion show ended, the stage opened up with a bang and Vanness Wu rocked the stage to the sea of fans and media guests. 

He’s my favorite F4 (next to Jerry Yan) and I love that his Meteor Garden character is close to who he really is – chill, cool and funny. 

When asked how he would describe the Filipino fans, he said “maganda” “masarap” 🙂 🙂

Vanness looks exactly like Mei Zhuo – the guy I used to watch on TV some years ago. It is amazing to see him perform live.
