I only wear three brands of perfume – Kenzo (blue), DKNY Be Delicious and Ralph (blue). It was a surprise to receive this gift box from Avon which contains daring scents from Imari fragrances including the new Imari Elixir Eau de Toilette. 

Avon Philippines truly brings beautiful things for women.  Let’s take these babies out and embrace their scents. I am not good at describing perfumes, so I would just take you to the beautiful memories that these scents remind me of. 

The Imari Elixir Eau de Toilette gives a softly opening with juicy blackberry which anchors to the skin with rose absolute and pure vanilla extract. I love that it doesn’t smell too tita or granny-ish. Contrary to how Avon is describing this scent, it smells youthful to me. Probably because of the sweet scent that lingers when you wear it. It reminds me of beautiful park, greens and fresh flowers. It makes me think of this memory. 

The description says it is a seductive invitation to the realm of intense passion as it presents a scent that is dark and enchantingly hypnotic. 

The Imari fragrances come in new bottles that celebrates Imari’s 30th Anniversary. Imari truly has captured women’s varying styles and personalities. 

The citrus and jasmine extracts vibrate the feeling of youthfulness and playfulness. The scent reminds me of weddings and gatherings I have attended when I was small.  If I were to wear this scent today, below is the ensemble I have in mind. 

It is an hypnotic scent of luscious plum and purple orchid with hints of warm vanilla and musk. It somehow feels masculine to me. It reminds me of the day when I hosted a wedding.  I smell strong desire from this scent like love and union. 

The exotic blend of mandarin, peach, orange flower and other fruits rounded off with warmth of sandalwood, musk, vanilla and balsam reminds me of parties and celebrations. 

Thank you Avon Philippines for sending such a beautiful gift that brings back good memories of my childhood, love and happiness.
