Everyone’s prince charming, Piolo Pascual is the newest brand ambassador of Cherry Mobile. During the launch at the New World Hotel earlier today, he came on stage with an exciting news for all Filipinos and OFWs working to provide for their families. The mobile company which brought us affordable mobile and tablets – the devices that we use to be in touch with our friends and relatives – has tapped the OFW for its newest campaign.
Piolo Pascual asks everyone who has OFW relatives to upload a video of themselves sharing why they want their relatives to be home this holiday season.
Piolo shared that when he did Milan some 10 years ago, it was when he felt the trials and challenges of an OFW. The best way to spend the holiday is to get the family together and Cherry Mobile is bringing this dream to 5 winners. That’s #CherryChristmas for Piolo.
The promo is open to all active Facebook users. One must upload a video sharing why they want their OFW relative home this Christmas. Cherry Mobile will pick 5 winners who will fly their relatives back here in the Philippines.
“#CherryChristmas is bringing home OFW’s back to the Philippines come November 8, partnering with an airline for this project, we’re literally flying them here. If you have a loved one outside the Philippines check the Cherry Mobile channels on that date. Valid entries just need a Facebook account, to be a Filipino, and use video as a medium for their entries. That’s what we’ll call #CherryChristmas.” says Ms. Sandra the Brand Manager for Equity and Digital at Cherry Mobile.
Cherry Mobile let us feel what #CherryChristmas is all about as it raffled off smartphones during the press launch. Yours truly is not very lucky though. I also passed on the chance to have a selfie with the Papa P. As usual, I was just there looking and observing from the distance. I already had my moment with Piolo in the previous event. I just let the others #beinthemoment.
