The day started in Ascot, Bonifacio Global City. Unionbank and Cebu Pacific GetGo team wanted to ensure that we are comfortable during the event – very much how we want our travels to be. 

We got a room at the 23rd Floor. A 3-Bedroom Suite that I shared with @deamarjsia and @paxiness. 

We just quickly settled and headed to Rox Store for the Shopping Challenge. 

We were given our very own Unionbank GetGo Debit Cards that we could use to shop for whatever it is that we need for our next adventure.

The Cebu Pacific GetGo Visa Debit Card by Unionbank is the first and only debit card that earns GetGo Points that can be used to book FREE travels. For every Php 88 spent using the card, you earn 1 GetGo point which will be automatically transferred to your enrolled GetGo account. There’s no maintaining balance for this account. 

I feel that it is perfect for students or explorers who want to control their expenses. 

We were the last team to come and we were only given 20 minutes to shop (!!!). We were all excited and stressed on what to pick.  I only have one thing that I need for my next adventure – a Go Pro Camera! But, I didn’t want to rush shop for a camera. I thought I would buy a luggage cover 🙂

At night, we headed to Unit 27 for the official launch of the Cebu Pacific GetGo Visa Debit and Credit Cards by Unionbank. It was funny because there was a breakfast event in Unit 27 that we missed that day, and we were surprised to find out that we were going on the same venue for the event. 

I love that we were staying in Ascot and the venue is literally walking distance from the hotel. But of course, we came in style via car service. 🙂 Unit 27 is such an instagrammable cafe + bar! 

At the 3rd Floor, we were welcomed by the Cebu Pacific and Unionbank Team. Everyone seemed so happy to have us and were excited for the official launch. 

The Unionbank and Cebu Pacific team is a pool of travelers themselves and they understand what the customers need. Aside from the GetGo Visa Debit Card, Unionbank also introduced the new Cebu Pacific GetGo Visa Credit and Platinum Credit Cards!

We agreed to stay only until 9:30 (because we needed to work) but we stayed because the event was sooooo fun! 

We all got a chance to swipe our cards and win in the raffle. Think 15,000 GetGo points, Fitbit watch, Samsonite luggage and Braven speakers for your adventures.

We literally close the bar 🙂 For the first time in my life, I feel relaxed enjoying an event in BGC without the worry of battling traffic on our way home. Thank you Cebu Pacific GetGo and Unionbank for booking us at Ascot, BGC 🙂

What is a GetGo Point and How to Use It?

I have overused the term GetGo on this post, but what is really a GetGo point?

GetGo is a lifestyle rewards program that allows you to accumulate points on your everyday spending (on groceries, utilities, gasoline, etc.) and redeem those points for a free flight.

So basically, with the new GetGo Debit and Credit Cards, we can now earn points just by spending everyday – by shopping at Robinsons, gassing up at Petron, paying for our meals or booking our flights via Cebu Pacific. Cebu Pacific is working on other tie ups with retail stores. 

I love it better than other airlines’ membership programs where you have to fly to be able to earn points.

What I love about the new GetGo Debit and Credit Cards?

♥  I can forget about my other rewards and membership cards for specific stores because GetGo allows me to earn points just by using my GetGo Unionbank Debit and Credit cards. 

♥  There is no pressure for me to fly more often just to get Free Travel Points. 

♥  I love the perks that come with my GetGo Credit Card. 

♥  The GetGo website is always up and available for me to check my points and easily book flights. It is like booking a normal travel. No paperwork, no approvals, whatsoever.
