#SMLipstickFest Lipstick Sale at SM Beauty
Lipstick always saves the day. Lipstick is always my weapon of choice 🙂
I cannot go out the house without lipstick (even if it is as simple as running an errand or doing grocery). I feel the need to put a tint/color in my lips to instantly perk up my mood.
Aside from perfume, I feel naked without lipstick.
Every woman probably started with the most basic makeup staple – lip products. I did! And once you got one, you know you can never have too many! Oftentimes, you cannot even finish one tube and you are already out in the shop trying and swatching new colors (even if you know there are still unused and unopen ones at your makeup case). We buy “almost” the same shade of red, and pinks and nudes 🙂
I joined the celebration of #NationalLipstickDay in SM Makati where they hosted #SMLipstickFest last July 29th!

We got to check out participating brands’ booths where they showcased different lipsticks in variety of shades – there are nudes and pinks for chill weekends and classic looks, there’s reds and purples for owning the room and making a statement. There are also wild colors like blues and blacks if you want to feel rebellious and bold.
Aside from lipsticks, we don’t forget the basics that help us achieve the perfect lips. There are lip balms for keeping our lips moisturized (I love Carmex and currently using Luca’s Papaw Ointment as moisturizer!). There’s also lip liners to help us achieve perfect lip shape. My friend told me I have a perfect lip tip / canal 🙂 🙂 Then of course, there are glosses and lip shines if you feel that hint of color is not enough to brighten the mood.
