5 Tips in Booking Airport Taxi Service
We were stood up by our airport taxi service.
And that was the welcome story for my recent travel in Vietnam. Our flight was delayed for 2 hours and we arrived at around 3:00 in the morning.We wanted to save extra time so we could rest in the hostel before our tour at 7:00 in the morning. 1. Research and read reviews. I would suggest checking TripAdvisor reviews, Facebook page and company profiles. Note the write-ups published by foreign guests with good review standings.
2. Be careful in booking services from third party sites. Our airport car service was booked via a popular booking travel site but the vendor or partner car service didn’t provide the expected service.
3. Check and compare prices. You can use app such as Grab or Uber to determine the fare from airport to your lodging. If you are traveling with big luggage, you have to consider the size of the car that you would need to book.
4. Book airport car service with a 24/7 customer service support so you can easily contact local manager during flight changes or luggage delays.
5. Download WhatsApp! This is important in case your phone is not in roaming mode, and you need to be contacted during your flight. Most of the airports have Free WIFI where you can easily connect to in case you need to contact your driver or local manager.
