One of the easiest ways to change one’s look is by changing your hairstyle – or changing your hair color. I always wish I could be more experimental with my hair color – but the only reason I dye my hair is to cover my gray hair and re-growth.

I was able to consult with Cloe after the event and she suggested that I treat my hair first with the Hydrate Treatment then go for the Tints of Nature Permanent Hair Color. I chose N4 to go back to my natural hair color and perfectly dye my gray color.
The Tints of Nature Permanent Color comes with bottles of color fix and color gel, clarifying shampoo, Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner, and plastic gloves and hair cap.
I first washed my hair with the Clarifying Shampoo. Its purpose is to remove any unwanted residue and styling products that can ‘coat’ the outside of your hair to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
Then, I applied 4 pumps of Hydrate Treatment and left it for 15 minutes. This will help moisturize my hair – allowing to absorb the color. I washed and towel-dried my hair.
After shampoo and treatment, I just transferred the color gel to the color fix bottle – and gently shake it. I squeezed the color starting at the roots and hairline, working it through hair. I love that the Tints of Nature Hair Color is thicker compared to other products I previously used. It is less messy to apply and I only need a few drops to cover hair sections.
As it is made of natural ingredients, it is not painful in my eyes and I didn’t feel any stinging sensation on my scalp. It made coloring a lot more bearable – allowing me to cover other parts of my hair.
I covered my hair with the plastic cap for 40 minutes and I washed it with the Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner.Â
I love how gray hair was perfectly covered and my hair color looks more even. Although it felt a little coarse (compared to when I use other dyes), I love that my hair is treated with natural ingredients and no chemicals. It doesn’t smell like I just went out of a salon.

It is always a good feeling to use something natural and organic.Â
I am looking forward to trying out the other hair colors from Tint of Nature.
