Terranova [Re]Opens in MOA and Introduces Brand Ambassadors

September 18, 2011

Terranova which opened in the Philippines in 2003 (I remember College Days), re-opened its biggest store in Manila in the Mall of Asia last Thursday. Imagine my excitement when I received an invite to the said event! Wohooo!!

I just shopped and shopped from Terranova a couple of weeks ago, and it is nice to be back in the store and be one of the first to see the Fall/Winter Collection. If you are worried that the collection is not suitable in our climate, I can attest that the materials are just perfect for the cold offices in the Metro Manila (like ours).

First things first – the ribbon cutting ceremony was headed by Mr. Adriano Steffanuti, Head of the Consular Office, Embassy of Italy and Mr. Alessandro Pagliarani, I.T. Head of Teddy s.P.A. Italy.

In line with the opening is the release of its new campaign “We Are Terranova” – emphasizing the young brand for young people with a street soul. Terranova also introduced its Philippine Ambassadors – Laureen Uy (ABS CBN talent, fashion blogger and younger sister of Liz Uy), Chino Lui-Pio (MYX VJ and younger brother of Hale’s lead vocalist Champ) and Rez Toledo of Someday Dream. Celebrities, models and beauty pageant finalists graced the event – I spotted Kyla (with Rich Alvarez in tow), Luke Mejares, Isabella Ledesma, Raymond Gutierrez, Say Alonzo, Champ Lui-Pio (who was the first one to greet me when I arrived) and other faces I only see on TV and magazines.

The Brand Ambassadors

The event was highlighted by the performance of Rez Tolodo of Someday Dream.

He has such a good voice and love the fashion sense!

Now, let’s check out what’s on the racks:

Here’s what I got during the event:

I was supposed to get the brown one with different design, but I saw this in purple-ish-red color. Love it more! (at Php1300 something) This one I can use in the office or as cover-up for mini-dresses.

I am loving plain shirts now, and I want to stick with basics. Mustard is a new love! So this one I got! (Php695)

I really love the new offerings of Terranova. I just wish they also have that James Dean shirt for women. I love the collaboration with Disney and the fun, colorful clothes for kids. There is even a section for women dedicated for corporate dressing.

What do you like about the collection?

Thanks to Terranova and Orange Magazine TV for putting me on the guestlist!
