Butterfly Twists: Foldable Boots and Flats for Commuters and Travelers

July 2, 2013

I have high respect and admiration to women who walk in high heels – and I mean, commute daily in high heels. I see them everyday – braving the traffic, train stations, bus queues while staying prim, proper and poised. I used to be one of them when I was younger – when I was in College when we were required to wear business attire in preparation to the real world.

But the real world is not all glam and glitz. At work place, you deal with issues, and deadlines – and after an 8-hour battle, you could only wish for comfort. I don’t know if it is just me, but a pain in my feet, is like a toothache that affects every part of me. Now that I am embracing the daily commute again, you might see me bringing a separate bag for my shoes (aside from my usual lunch bag).

I discovered this interesting flats called Butterfly Twists which invaded the Philippines in 2009. It’s first goal is to provide comfort for feet after long hours in high heels, but it looks like the brand offers even more fashionable pieces that can be worn everyday, any time of the day.

Look at these fun colors and designs:

Plus, I found out Butterfly Twists now offers foldable boots! How awesome! Perfect for traveling. I remember when I had a hard time packing my boots before because they are soo heavy and eats so much space in my luggage.

The Berkley Foldable Boots have improve soles and are sewn to the body of boots – which makes it more durable. As the design is classic, it can be work with dresses, shorts and skirts – even leggings.

I need to get a pair – will be traveling the world soon!
Do you own a pair of Butterfly Twists? Which design is your favorite?
