Sleek, bold, modern and urban-forward – these words best describe the Kenneth Cole Holiday Collection 2014. I only have one word for the beautiful timepieces – fascinating.
It felt like stepping in the busy New York City when we arrived in the Makati Shangri-la Hotel for the official launch of the collection – with a touch of New York City skyline and a tint of Autum colors.
It is funny that I always associate Kenneth Cole with men’s watches. When someone asks what’s a good gift to a guy, I always thought of Kenneth Cole watches. I remember giving a Kenneth Cole watch to my nephew – and my sister just find it too dressy that she didn’t allow him to wear the watch. He was only 13 then. :)) I (always) forget that Kenneth Cole also carries women’s timepieces – which are equally elegant.
The new Kenneth Cole Holiday Collection 2014 is simply stunning. I was salivating over the glitzy watch displays – the Kenneth Cole Holiday Collection is inspired by the New York skyline celebrating the glamour of the night, the cutting-edge city life and the enduring spirit of classic sophistication.
Here they are..
The best-selling Women’s Classic collection features beautiful crystal accented dials, three-hand movements and feminine bracelet. They come in rose gold and stainless steel color. The pieces are perfect from day to night elegance. Time pieces start at Php 6,500.
The Women’s Transparency is a more glamorous collection with stunning crystal. It has shimmering tonal styles in rose gold and stainless steel display transparent dials with a pave center. The Roman Numberal indexes, crystal embellished bezel and centerlink make the Transparency a genuine study of modern sensibility and timeless glamour.
The Men’s Diamond Collection is a tribute to a man living a high life. It features a geniune diamond marker at the 12’oclock position and two dial colors of black and silver. It incorporates stainless steel and leather bracelets.
The man behind these pieces is David Smordoni, Creative Director for Kenneth Cole New York Watches. He flew in to Manila to attend the launch. Two volunteers were lucky to have their dream watches designed by David (on the spot!).
The most fun part, we were given the chance to design our own watch! We were given sketch pads, and pencils – and 10 minutes to draw our dream watch (aaah… pressure!) but David’s music was playing on the background to keep us all calm and inspired – yes, David is a recording artist 🙂
Here’s the simple design that I want for my watch 🙂 David checked all the design and one lucky guest was announced the winner – and he got to choose 1 watch from the collection! Wow!
