I used to hate walking especially in this city where you learned to live with fear. My friends know how much I hate to walk and how I can do magic with just a wave of a hand (yes, like waving a taxi cab) to get me to the places I want to go.
I am not sure if the love for walking is associated with aging.. but recently I have learned to love to walk. It is a good exercise (and the only exercise I do!). But I only do “walk” when I am wearing comfortable shoes (like flats and slippers). Walking needs a good footwear (I am sure you ladies wearing stilettos and killer shoes would agree!). Reminds me of the time when we visited Temple of Heaven and we saw Korean girls taking off their wedges and heeled shoes and walking bare-footed!
Anyway, I am extra-delighted to know about Skechers GoWalk 2 Collection! This is the true walking shoes for all.

What is the Skechers GoWalk 2 made of?
V-Stride Technology
The performance lab at Skechers studied the barefoot step rolls from outer heel to inner toe, and it inspired them to design an outsole that’s angled to complement a natural walking gait. It promotes fluid strides. I have tried this yesterday, and it felt like walking shoeless!

Cushioned Materials
GoImpulse sensors offer flexibility and responsive feedback – it offers stability for enhanced footing control. I love that it is super light-weight, and molded just perfectly in my feet!
Goga Mat Technology
The most comfortable footbed is inside the Skecher’s GoWalk 2 shoes. It feels so comfortable and offers high rebound. The new technology adds a proprietary SQUISH component to the exclusive Resalye material along with anti-microbial AGION that helps inhibit odor.
Interesting history – one of the designers came up with this idea in the middle of her yoga class and when she got home, she cut out her yoga mat and slid the pieces into her shoes. Then TENEN! The technology is now in my pair of Skechers GoWalk 2 shoes! Yay!

To really test this new walking shoes, I wore it during the shoot yesterday where we also had jump shots taken. What can I say, it is the most comfortable shoes I ever wore (and this is coming from someone who has such big shoe size!). After the shoot, some of my friends are complaining how their feet hurt badly after the jump – while I felt like bouncing and bouncing! Haha I will share the pictures once it is up! 😉
Thank you Skechers for this pair! I really want to use and abuse this, so stay tuned for more walking stories 🙂
