The Vikings has sailed South and were pleasantly welcomed by the southern inhabitants.

 

I am talking about our favorite luxury buffet restaurant, Vikings, which opened its 7th store in SM BF Paranaque last night. We drove down South and our compass (aka Google Maps) pointed us to Dr. A. Santos Avenue (formerly Sucat Road) and President’s Avenue in BF Homes, Parañaque City. I rarely go South for events but the cute invitation from the Vikings team made me excited about the opening and so we joined the feast! We arrived before 7:00 PM and as expected (just like in any other Vikings stores), there was a long queue at the entrance. I instantly spotted our dear friends from Vikings and they ushered us inside..

I previously mentioned in my other Vikings blogs, that each of the Vikings store is designed differently to give its guests a different feel and experience. The SM BF Paranaque store is a play of earth colors inspired by nature. There are a lot of greens, brown and warm shades and lighting.

 

Food

Expect nothing but exquisite and fine selection of international food from Vikings. The Vikings SM BF Paranaque store has its own Kitchen Team of experienced Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and Pastry Chef with different backgrounds and innovative approach in culinary.

The first thing that would greet you as soon as you walk inside the store is the Appetizer Spread:

But I guess most of the guests thought of skipping the appetizer and jumping directly to the main dishes. There was even a longer queue of diners around the stations and I had to take quick shots of the food and its preparations.

Vikings SM BF Paranaque Opening Promo – Be Like a Viking

1. During the first 3 days of the opening week, guest who dresses up like a Viking will automatically get a 50% discount on their individual bill.
2. Example requirements to qualify for the 50% discount: Vikings Helmet, Vikings Sword & Shield, Vikings Cape, Vikings Outfit, OR a full on Vikings costume.
3. Each qualified guest will receive a discount coupon when seated; this coupon will be used to claim the 50% off discount.
4. Coupons received on the day must be consumed also within the day and time chosen (lunch or dinner). Coupons cannot be saved and used for a different day.
5. Guests availing the discount must be dressed like a Viking at all times until upon seating.
6. If reservations are full, guests may choose to come in as “walk-in” guests for the discount; subject to table availability. Listing for lunch or dinner starts as early as 10 a.m. Guests may come at their most convenient time to have their names listed on the “walk-in” list for lunch or dinner. Lunch operation starts at 11:00 am, while dinner starts at 5:30 pm.
