We got to visit the store last week with top regional executive of Florsheim, Mr. Eric Leung who returns to Manila to further highlight the significance of the Philippine market for its growing global presence. 

 

To keep up with the changing customers’ needs and interests, Florsheim introduced development of new styles which come in different colors. Leung sees men waring more directional, rounder toe shoes with neutral tones like cognac and taupe. Women, on the other hand, will continue to see the man shoe and ankle bootie. I am more excited for the comeback of flats. 

Colors to look out for this Summer: Blue, Moss Green, Orange, Lemon and Pink, Beige, Maroon and Grey. 

I got to ask a question to Mr. Eric asking what makes Florsheim shoes appealing, sexy and attractive? Is there any part of the shoe that contributes to that appeal? He said that making it comfortable brings out the sexiness in every shoe-wearer. I agree. Comfort is the key. I can never feel sexy with a shoe that scratches my skin raw.
