Sarah Geronimo’s Mobile Game App: Sarah G Popsters

I discovered a new game that one can play when stuck in traffic or when commuting. Interestingly, it even feels like playing it with the Pop Princess, Sarah Geronimo.

Shamelessly admitting that I have the newest game app “Sarah G Popsters” downloaded in one of my phones.

This is Sarah’s way of connecting with her fans. And yes, I admit that I am a fan.

I was instantly converted into a Popster when I saw her performed live. She is a real performer. I have seen her on TV and in the big screen – and although she is not the drop-dead gorgeous type, there’s something about her that easily connects with people.

The official launch of Sarah G Popsters app was held in the Mind Museum last November 24th. They set up a lovely venue. I felt like a rocskstar.

The game was developed in partnership with Xeleb Inc., the Philippines’ first celebrity mobile games company. In just five months, Xeleb has already launched five games: Anne Galing with Anne Curtis, Adventures of Kuya Kim with Kim Atienza,Trip Ni Belle with Isabelle Daza, and Market Master with Erwan Heussaff. Sarah G Popsters game basically allows gamers to follow Sarah on her concert tour and levels up to unlock new Sarah’s songs. I love that there’s even a recorded voice of Sarah to cheer you up when you are doing well in the game.

It is a nice game to play to exercise your brain cells and kill boredom.

During the launch, we were asked to play the game. I was busy catching up with some of the mommy bloggers and totally missed my chance. But hey, Ava got the highest score and won the new Apple Watch! Congratulations Ava!
