If you could have one wish granted, what would it be?

So hard to think of just one when the Genie in a bottle can grant 3 wishes! I had a simple wish before that was granted on air – a DJ greeted me on air and even promoted my blog! :p 

I actually got greeted almost every night whenever I tuned in to the midnight show hosted by DJ Flynn Rider of Wish 107.5. I never really tuned in to radio shows (I have Spotify where I can choose my playlist!), but unpredictable music and a live DJ talking can be a good accompaniment of a nocturnal being drafting stories and blogs at night. The bonus? DJ Flynn accommodated (my) requests. The bigger bonus? There’s a (love) topic every night. It was interesting to hear people’s views and thoughts shared via 140-character limit in Twitter. 

When DJ Flynn Rider signed off, I logged off. The truth is, I just tried to get as much sleep every night 🙂 I don’t have alot to wish for now. I think as I get older, my wishes and wants get simpler. I let the future surprise me and live with #whatRuthwantsRuthgets mantra 😀 

But Wish 107.5 didn’t stop playing music – and they even brought music to the road via a Wish Bus! Wish 107.5 is even hosting its 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards on January 16, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. 

The event will witness the announcing of this year’s big winners and stellar performances featuring the country’s brightest OPM stars. 

You can expect live performances by Morisette, KZ Tandingan, Zia Quizon, Charice, Sassa Dagdag, Kris Lawrence, Michael Pangilinan, Jason Dy and Marcelito Pomoy. 

The newly-formed Boyband PH and Tawag ng Tanghalan Grand Finalists, Eumee Capile, Gidget Dela Llhana, Pauline Agupitan, Maricel Callo, Marielle Montelibano and Noven Belleza will also complete the roster of A-list performers. 

There would be 75 music acts under 13 categories with special recognitions such as Wish Reactors’ Choice Award and WISHclusive Viral Video of the Year.

Voting is on until 12 noon of January 16!

Online voting will comprise 50% of nominee’s total score, while other 50% will come from votes of panel of judges. 

I guess I know what the nominees’ only wish for now.
