Perfumes and scents have love stories, too.

Dolce & Gabbana recently shared the new chapter of the beautiful intense romance of the iconic couple Bianca Balti and David Gandyits as it unveils the reinvented scents: Light Blue and Light Blue pour Homme. 

We were there during the Philippine launch held at SM Makati. It was all lemony and capri, and all scents and shades of Mediterranean blue. We saw the beautiful production of the  Light Blue Eau Intense campaign which brings together, once again, the renowned director and photographer Mario Testino, and the faces of the Light Blue couple, David Gandy and Bianca Balti. More than falling in love with the new scents, @tinavilla and I somehow fell in love with the couple’s romantic chemistry. We felt the intensity of romance as the video shows the beautiful location at the Faraglioni in the Mediterranean Sea in Capri, Italy. The advertising film features the lovers meeting again at the spectacular cliffs for a sensual tryst.

After 16 years since the launch of the Light Blue, master perfumer Olivier Cresp creates a new chapter of the Light Blue saga with Light Blue Eau Intense pour Femme. 

The fragrance opens with a sharp, addictive duo of scents: luminous lemon and crisp Granny Smith apple. with its fruity and floral facets, elegant marigold blends this accord into heart notes: a wave of glowing, heady jasmine petals. Its signature trail of lustrous amber woods and precious musks melts into sun-kissed skin, unfurls into a vibrant, sensuously scented wake.

A chilled citrus cocktail of refreshing mandarin and frozen grapefruit gives the top notes a cool, elegant twist.
